Step 1: To use Turo, first create an account. Then go to your account page and complete the steps to get approved to drive. You must get verified and approved to drive before you can book a trip.
Step 2: Go to our home screen and click on our inventory tab to select your desired vehicle.
Step 3: Book your trip! Confirm the starting and ending times and days of your trip. Choose where you would like to pick up the vehicle you have selected. Add an extra services or convenance packages to make your trip more enjoyable.
Many companies will allow you to use your own personal insurance to cover a rental car. Also check with your credit card company as some offer great protection plans simply for caring their card.
That said, you don’t need your own insurance to book a vehicle. Turo makes protection plans available to all guests at various price points. The higher the plan cost, the less you’ll pay out-of-pocket if there’s vehicle damage during the trip.
Plans change an you may need to end a trip early or extend it for various reasons. Simply log into the Turo app where you booked your trip and make any necessary changes. We will do what ever we can to accommodate any changes in your itinerary.
